New, Exciting and Unfortunate Things

I’m trying to remember what kept me from even saying “Hi!” here on my blabbering world for quite a while and I realized it’s because a lot has happened to me, to the kids and around me that I could no longer catch up.

So while I was “away” trying to figure out what’s going on, this happened.

No, that's not a seahorse! That's my hair! :)

No, that’s not a seahorse! That was my hair! 🙂

And the owner of that unruly wavy hair had the guts to take a selfie to show her new look! 😀

new hair1

Guess how many shots I took to make a successful selfie attempt? I’m always a newbie! 😀

Apart from my new short hair, I’m also braces-free now! Yipee! 🙂 I’m on retainers stage for I don’t know how long.

Okay, enough of vanity. 😀

All the playfulness aside, I personally went through some, let’s say, introspection and reflection I wish I could find the words to put together to tell about. I’ll try to find the words when I find the time. Haha! But for now, I decided to announce my come-back from “unintentional” blogging hiatus with some updates about my adorable sweeties. 🙂 It wouldn’t be about me, fortunately. 😀

If you have, by any chance, visited this blog in the past and out of boredom or curiosity tried to take peek into it again, you may have noticed that I blurred the photos of my kids. I went through the tedious process of checking all my posts one by one and replacing all of my children’s photos with Gausian-blurred ones. Why?

For security reasons. One of the keyword searches that drove traffic to this blog for a couple of days even weeks is mommy8. It was a puzzle in my head:  why would a file name of a photo that I included in one of my posts appear in my keyword search? So out of curiosity, I googled it and got shocked and annoyed at the same time when I found out that it has something to do with XXX! My goodness!

You know, I’m trying to maintain a wholesome blog here and all of a sudden I would get visits from people who have carnal intentions. Scary. My thought wandered. Then I panicked! My kids! They’d get to see my kids! What if they do something sick with my kids’ photos?!  Then some more paranoiac thoughts followed. What if they stalk my kids and kidnap them?!  God forbid please.

So I spent night after night editing photos of my 2 innocent yet spirited children that I have already posted to save them from potential harm from the internet. I know I should’ve done that before. I should’ve trusted my guts to not post any picture of them but I was thinking then, “no one gets to read this blog anyway.” What was in my mind, huh? It’s the world wide web for Pete’s sake and I didn’t even set my blog into private so somewhere, somehow, someone would stumble upon this online dumpsite of my thoughts and experiences. Pffft. Anyhow, at least I’ve done some preventive action. 😀

Moving on to happy thoughts now. 🙂

The Big Boy has been back to school as a Kindergartener for more than 3 weeks now and so far he’s doing good. He has adjusted to going to school and seeing new teachers and classmates except…waking up early in the morning. 😀

He mutters in droopy eyes that refuse to open, “Antok ako”  (or if he’s in English mode, “I’m sleepy”) and covers his face with a pillow. He’s like this 50% of the time so he comes to school late most of the time.

Other than his tantrums obviously due to his interrupted sleep, he’s excited to go to school.  And what makes him excited?  He gets to drag his Lighting McQueen “suitcase bag” (trolley bag) with his matching McQueen lunchbox inside. 😀

schoolbag

He really likes pulling his “suitcase bag” 😀

And he gets home enthusiastic with what they did in school.

ME: What did you do in school?

BIG BOY: I ate my snacks!

I knew it! That’s his favorite part of schooling! Hahaha! Who doesn’t like snacktime? 😀 At least he eats the baon I prepare. Hehe! Don’t worry, there’s normally a follow-up answer.

BIG BOY:  Then I color[ed] the butterfly and paste[d] it on the board.

Or whatever activity they did for the day. 🙂 But snacktime is usually the highlight. 😀

Of course, days before his back-to-school, I spent a few late nights labeling and covering his school supplies, notebooks and books. The duties of a mom with a school kid, and this will double once the Little Princess has become a school kid, too. 😀  Anyhow, my life was made easier by the Time Saver plastic cover cut into book size that I discovered in National Bookstore and by recycling the Big Boy’s school labels last year which I designed myself and printed on sticker paper.

But before his school started, we brought the Big Boy to our dentist  Doc M to get dental fillings for his molars. His molars have already developed cavities and whenever he sees his tooth decays in the mirror, the Big Boy always tells me to visit Doc M and have his teeth fixed. “Mommy, sira na teeth ko. Let’s go to the dentist.”

According to Doc M, molar teeth regenerate at age 13 or 14 so it would be better to have his 4 molar teeth filled to avoid toothaches. So we decided to proceed with the procedure.

The Big Boy readily sat on the dental chair and followed Doc M’s instructions. The drilling began and our pretty dentist was amazed at how behaved the Big Boy was. She mentioned she normally does not drill young children’s teeth because kids tend to move a lot or get impatient but the Big Boy did it! 🙂 Right after his procedure, the Big Boy ran to the dentist’s box of toy treats for her kid patients and got an airplane toy. He already knows the drill! 😀

I’m happy that the Big Boy gets to appreciate the importance of dental visits at a young age and he gets comfortable going to the dentist. Because we still need to go back for the other 2 molars! 😀

Now, while exciting things take place for the Big Boy, our Little Princess went through some ordeal!

One fine Friday afternoon about two weeks ago, the Little Princess was playing at the playground with her Daddy (who was on leave from work) and Kuya. She was climbing the stairs to the slide when she slipped and her nose bridge hit the edge of the wood! My poor Little Princess! 😦 I was at the office when I received a call from hubby telling me, in a broken voice, what happened and that he was going to bring her cutie lady to the hospital to be checked because her nose bridge swelled up. He assured that the Little Princess was no longer crying but he wanted to have her checked by the doctor to be sure because it was a delicate part of her body that was hit.

I left work and followed them quickly to the hospital. Thankfully, the Little Princess was her usual lively self when I saw them at the ER. And barefoot. 😀 People at home probably forgot to pick up her shoes out of panic.

The Little Princess was examined by the pediatrician, her wound cleaned and iced (slightly because she didn’t like being pressed with an icepack on her face) then she cried and an x-ray test was performed on her facial area (where she cried again) to ensure she had no fracture as the pedia confirmed that the nasal area is a very sensitive part of our body. An EENT doctor assessed her (where she again cried) after the x-ray results were out and thank God, no fracture was seen. We were just given some instructions and medications for the Little Princess and after like forever, we were discharged. And the crying stopped except when we she didn’t get what she wanted like playing with the hospital stuff.

She was happy when the doctor announced she had no fracture. :D

She was happy when the doctor announced she had no fracture! 😀 (Apparently, the bruise on her nose also got blurred 😀 )

Just a side story: while we were waiting in the ER, the Little Princess of course became hungry and had to nurse from me. I realized it was already dinner time so she latched and latched and latched. Another pediatrician noticed her breastfeeding while we were waiting for them to discharge us and gave this encouraging remark, “Very good, Mommy. Keep it up”. It made me smile giddily. 😀 Because for the first time in 2 years  that we have been breastfeeding, I received a positive feedback about our breastfeeding from a stranger. I normally get a quiet gaze, sometimes with laughter, whenever we breastfeed in public.

Another untoward though funny incident happened on Father’s Day. We went out and brought the kids to a play place at the mall then had a Japanese dinner after. Come dessert time, I ordered a green tea ice cream which the Little Princess liked a lot. She noshed on a spoonful of ice cream then some more, one after another. After getting satisfaction from the green tea ice cream, she walked back and forth the aisle until I noticed a brown thingy on her legs and socks. The green tea turned brown and leaked from her cloth diaper, some even spilled on the floor! Sorry, TMI. Haha! 😀

So I rushed the Little Princess to the washroom and cleaned her up. Thanks to the restaurant crew who was kind enough to offer me lots of bathroom tissue. And for wetbags too, where all her stained cloth diaper, skirt and socks went sealed.

I bet you prefer to see this rather than a photo of what happened on Father's Day. :D This figurine was our gift for Daddy J together with some other stuff :)

I bet you would rather see this than what happened to the Little Princess on Father’s Day. 😀 Btw, this figurine was our gift for Daddy J together with some other stuff 🙂

That’s not the end of it all. Five days after, the Little Princess caught fever which prompted me, as usual, to take that day off from work to monitor her for weakness, loss of appetite, rashes, etc. I don’t want to rely on the yaya when any of my kids is sick. The Little Princess’ fever went to us high as 39 degrees Celsius and lasted only for one day.

The following day though, rashes sprouted at the Little Princess’ arms, hands, legs and feet. I dismissed that it’s Roseola because she has already acquired it in the past so off we went to her pediatrician for check up. The diagnosis — Hand Foot and Mouth Disease (HFMD). It’s a viral infection common among young children that produces sores in the mouth and rashes in the skin specifically the hands and the feet. It made more sense to me why the Little Princess breastfed almost all day while she was sick.

The onset of rashes on the Little Princess' arms. It spread to her body, back, thighs and even her nape. Poor little girl! :(

The onset of rashes on the Little Princess’ arms. It spread to her body, back, thighs and even her nape. Poor little girl! 😦

I’m familiar with HMFD (not because I’ve read about it online 😀 ) because the Big Boy caught this virus on his 1st birthday party and I also acquired it after sharing a frozen yogurt with him. Though I’m obviously no longer a child, the doctor explained that I probably didn’t get the virus when I was younger that’s why it was transmitted to me now that I’m an adult. I’m telling you, it was terrible to get an HMFD because of the sores and rashes which makes it difficult to eat and walk.

So where did the Little Princess get the virus? We’re quite sure it was at the play place we visited on Father’s Day because the place was full of potential carriers aka kids. Well, that’s part of being a kid. 😉 They have to go out and get exposed to their surroundings (and viruses as well 😀 ) every once in a while. We cannot just leave them trapped at home like Rapunzel. Thank God, at least her fever wasn’t dengue. 🙂

Thankfully, the Little Princess is doing well now — no more rashes and back to her energetic state (though it seemed that her sickness didn’t even affect her energy level 😀 ). But we’re not bringing her out yet because she might transmit the virus to other people or get a new virus this time. It’s already sickness season.

There. I guess this pretty sums up what “has been” recently or at least the past three weeks. Another three weeks for my next post? Nope. It’s hard to catch up! Haha! 🙂

I’m Back!

Yes, I am from my 4-day out-of-town fieldwork and from all my crazy-busyness prior to that. Whew! I missed my blabbering world! But even if my full schedule has loosened up a bit, I’m still getting back on track when it comes to blogging because I’ve got a lot of backlogs I don’t know where to start! 😀

While I’m still processing things, let me just give a quick rundown of my eventful April-May, I dub as #aMAYzingrace (sorry I really have to use this hashtag. haha!):

April: The Little Princess’ 2nd Birthday

My baby girl is now 2! Wait, what?! She’s 2 already?! Where has time gone?! Anyhow, to celebrate my Little Princess’ terrific twos, I prepared a simple Frozen themed party at home amid my super duper busy work schedule thereby sucking the remaining energy left in my body that week. 😀 I posted a photo on my Instagram and as I mentioned in the caption, I still owe a post on this. Long overdue, I know. 😦

May 1-3: Family Out-of-Town Trip at Hundred Islands

We took advantage of the long Labor Day weekend break to have some beach time and get all tanned at Hundred Islands in Alaminos, Pangasinan. The kids enjoyed the beach so much with the proof of the fun they had still evident on their skin until now. 😀 Ebony and ivory combined. 😀

May 6-8: Fieldwork in Naga City

Three days of out-of-office work going house-to-house observing research interviews and more interestingly, people’s culture and way of life, under the scorching heat of the sun. I kidded my colleague, “Why do we have to go through this all these again?” Hahaha! Also did some office work at night until the wee hours to finish a report. I thought I was back in college. Or my research agency days. Crazy.

And to compensate for that physically and mentally tiring business trip, I got to taste Naga City’s famous Sili Ice Cream from 1st Colonial Grill! 🙂 I didn’t like how the spicyness of the sili gets stuck in my throat though but the other unique flavors were so hmmmmm  delicious and refreshing! 🙂

May 10: Mother’s Day Celebration

I was so looking forward to the weekend of Mother’s Day to relax from all the stress of that week so I hinted my husband to bring me and the kids out on this day. I would have preferred a spa or salon time all by myself but I wanted to spend the day with the kids and hubby so we went to Active Fun at Boni High Street and had early dinner at IHOP. I felt exhausted physically but the joy of being with my family on this special day took away all the tiredness. And for some treat for me, Daddy J bought me 2 bags from Cole Vintage at a booth in BHS. Happiness because they were on sale! 😀

May 15-16: Department Summer Outing

Our “sorority” (because we are an all-ladies department 😀 ) had an overnight summer outing/team building at La Luz Beach Resort in Laiya, Batangas. We had fun being together beyond the walls of our office room and just enjoying the sun, sea and sand. 🙂 Afterwhich we had a sumptuous lunch at a beautiful, very inviting Italian restaurant in Lipa City called Casa Marikit.

May 18-21: Fieldwork in Cebu and Iloilo

My #aMAYzingrace ended, so far, with a 4-day fieldwork in Cebu and Iloilo. Again, another tiring, much more tiring, but worthwhile trip because apart from experiencing people’s way of life again, we got to explore Cebu particularly Iloilo on the side  (and no office work to finish at night!). We experienced Cebu’s Zubu Chon, Iloilo’s Jo’s Chicken Inato, Buto’t Balat Restaurant, Breakthrough Restaurant,  Deco’s La Paz Batchoy and Madge Cafe’s Iced Coffee. 🙂

So that was my jam-packed May! I’ll try and I hope to be able to blog about these events separately. I’d like to share lots of photos! 😉

Quick Stopover

Just making a quick stopover here to say that I’m still alive! Haha!

The past few days and weeks have been crazy busy because of work, my Little Princess’ 2nd birthday and all other stuff so I couldn’t get my hands on my laptop and blog. Plus our internet connection is busted since Saturday! But I promise I’ll be back with a lot (wait, I don’t want to overpromise! :D) some stories soon or when our internet gets fixed. So it might not be soon. Psshhh. Sorry.

Just to convince you I have things to tell about once we have our internet back, I have a few unfinished posts in my drafts folder about cloth diapering, the Little Princess’ birthdayS (yes, with an S, just wait and found out why. hehe!) and my Ilog Maria loots. And quite honestly, I miss blogging already so I hope to be back soon! So Globe, please fix our internet soon!

But before I forget to stop myself from continuous blabbering, I just want to share this Bible verse that is a perfect reminder to me amid all the crazy busy things I’m in recently.

I said it’s just quick!  Gotta get rolling with all the craziness and busy-ness! 😉

Spending the Holidays

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hope you’re having a blessed and fruitful holidays. 🙂 I haven’t forsaken this blog, I promise. 🙂 The past few weeks beginning December was just…whew! I couldn’t find a word to describe how busy-bee I was before we could finally go on our much-anticipated Holiday break.

Just to give you a rundown of what kept my schedule full, Christmas parties, for obvious reasons, occupied most of my December calendar. We had 3 in our office. The first one was our company-wide Broadway-themed party held on the first week of December which is a yearly tradition of theme-based performance competition per unit/building. Our building was assigned with the boring Les Miserables. 😀 I wasn’t a performer neither anyone of us in the department, but in the spirit of Christmas, we decided to dress up as something related to the theme. Apparently though, the organizing committee from our building had a different plan of involving everyone in the performance and having us wear Les Mis printed shirt with a plain text at the back! In silent protest for asking us to shell out P200 for a piece of shirt that we are most likely to wear as pambahay, I together with some of my “irele” officemates insisted on wearing peasant-looking costumes instead. So even though I didn’t want to “karir” the costume, I had to go over my wardrobe and unearth pieces of clothes for me to look like a peasant.

Les Miserables

Do we look like peasants? 😀 Sorry I don’t have a full body photo to convince you that we were peasants. 😀 Photo by Jo Ann.

Next was our department’s “The Voice”/Videoke party on the last week before work ends which was a whole lot of fun! No costume required, just the willingness to enjoy the games and the guts to sing our heart out! 🙂 It was a bit bitin though because we ended at 9pm due to regular work the following day while the other groups also partying at the place were just beginning to enjoy the night.

The Voice of MRD

The Voice of MRD 🙂 Love the photobooth props! 😉

Then the last Christmas party was for our division with a theme Foreign Film Festival which was my official office year-ender. This was stressful because a very good friend of mine who was part of the committee “volunteered” me to be one of the program hosts! 😀 Hosting requires some skills which I know I lack but I accepted the “request” nonetheless. This party had a costume contest which I didn’t plan to work hard on since I already won as one of the best costumes 2 Christmases ago. Haha! I was just actually planning to come as a very effortless Jamie Sullivan from my favorite A Walk To Remember. 😀 But since I was a host, I decided to level up a bit by dressing up as Arwen of Lord of the Rings. Thank you to my college friend, Jenica for lending me the dress! 🙂 I just bought a piece of beaded headband and some necklaces and turned them into an elven head dress who was arranged by my college and office friend Raissa (who, by the way, was the one who “volunteered” my name to host! 😀 I think it was her way of making it up to me for dragging my name into this hosting stint. Hehe!). And guess what? My Arwen outfit won as the female best in costume! Hahaha! Plus, I won an induction cooker at the raffle! 😀 The hosting paid off! 😀

LOTR1

Eowyn and Arwen of LOTR 😉 I love how the background perfectly matched our costumes! 😀 Photo by Jo Ann.

Aside from our office Christmas parties, our college barkada also had a Christmas get together at our place. We rarely see each other since most of us are already married and have our own family so we really needed to make this one happen. It was a fun afternoon of food trip, catching up with each other, playing with the kids and games of Pinoy Henyo Beki Edition and Name That Tune hummed by the players. 🙂

CROI Re-unite! :D

CROI Re-unite! 😀

We also attended one of our very good friend’s wedding where the 2 kids were part of the entourage. The Big Boy was a coin bearer while the Little Princess was obviously a flower girl. The Big Boy only got to fit the coat on the wedding day itself because we were not able to meet with the very busy bride to get his outfit and have it dry cleaned and altered. He ended up wearing a little big coat and a really long pants. The Little Princess’ gown, on the other hand, was fitted for the first time 3 days before the wedding! And it had to be adjusted by the designer because it was too small for her. We got the final dress the night before the wedding and we were also not able to dry clean it. Rashes on her chest therefore appeared after we changed her into a more comfy clothes. Also bought the Little Princess a nice pair of gold shoes to match her yellow dress which I had to replace because I got the wrong size for her chubby feet.

Because the bride is very special to us, we obliged to her request that our car be a part as well of the wedding. 😀 It was dressed up and used as the bridal car with the chauffeur no other than hubby. 😉 I don’t think we were able to take a photo of the car though.

I also made myself busy shopping for make-up for the wedding and at the same time, update my make-up kit. 🙂 Since there would be 3 wedding events that we would be attending this Christmas break, I think I’d get the breakeven by then plus I have a regular everyday make-up. 😀

And in between Christmas party preparations was the need for me to brave the Holiday traffic and buy gifts for everyone — family and relatives for both my and hubby’s side, godchildren, friends and officemates. I would go to the mall whenever possible after office to complete our gift list and I would pray everytime that I’d be able to get a ride home without fuss. Exchange gifts and the weekly kris kringle in our department (yes, that kris kringle!) also added to the “stress” and pressure of looking for presents. Imagine picking your brain every week for something “funny and strange” or “colorful and sticky (except food and clay)” or “unique and special” worth P30 each? 😀 Then I had to stay up late to finish wrapping all the gifts because it’s almost impossible to do some crafty things while the kids are up and running around the house. I need peace and serenity at times like this. 😀

And oh, it was not just my Christmas parties that I became pre-occupied with. The Big Boy also had one to cap off the school days for this year and they also had an exchange gift. I had to squeeze in buying a P150 worth of gift for a little boy after a work Christmas lunch. I also needed to prepare gifts for his teachers which I wrapped last minute before he left for his party at school.

And before the Big Boy’s Christmas party, they still had their 3rd mastery exam for 3 days! Seriously? Days before the Christmas break?! My thought bubble shouts. Stress! I had to go home right after work and cancel gift shopping itineraries to review the Big Boy for his exams. So thankful for hubby for filling in for the 3rd review night as I needed to go to finish buying gifts and prepare other stuff as we would be leaving for vacation that weekend.

Work was also hectic that final work week since there will be changes in our assignments. We had to prepare for smooth transition, manage important last-minute tasks and prepare for our new assignment. And there were projects that needed to be finalized before the Christmas break!

I must not forget that I needed to pack things of 2 adults and 2 kids for our 2 week Christmas vacation. I was initially thinking of starting packing a week before we left but figured it wouldn’t be realistic given all the things I had to do and the events that would take place so I ended up packing the entire day of Saturday. 😀 I swear, this is my most hated part of going on vacation. It seems to be an endless task! We had no choice but to miss the baptism of my friend’s (since pre-school!) baby in the morning of Saturday held in the province even if I was a godparent. 😦 I was also too tired from the Film Fest Christmas party the previous night.

Busy schedule didn’t end while we were on vacation. We met up with some of my pre-school to high school friends, one of which was the one who invited me to be her child’s godmother. We had to prepare for the blessing of my parents newly renovated house. We needed to prepare our Noche Buena since my parents do not have a househelp. I’m proud to say that I cooked the tomato pasta with the help of Joey while he grilled the barbecue. 🙂

Then we moved to hubby’s side of the family and celebrated the annual Christmas party with games and prizes for the kids, gift giving then dinner. So amazed and proud of the Big Boy who readily joined the games! He looked so cute in the Stop Dance game. 🙂

We also visited my Father-in-Law’s side of the family and I was just so thrilled to experience more of the laid-back province life away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The plains and hills on our way to the place were a sight to behold. And the plants and gardens were so beautiful I’m dreaming to have the same at home someday. The air was so fresh! Being both raised in the province, I mentioned to my husband while getting awed at the beautiful creation of the Lord that we were blessed to have grown up seeing and experiencing the greens and beauty and freshness of province life. This is also one of the reasons why we make sure we spend a vacation at least once a year in our hometown for the kids to experience these.

The day after we attended my cousin-in-law’s amazing wedding with the 2 kids. Thank God there were relatives who helped us look after the Big Boy and the Little Princess because we didn’t have a yaya with us. They went on vacation, too. 🙂

DCIM100GOPRO

The newly-weds! 🙂 Photo taken by my hubby using a GoPro.

It was indeed a totally jam-packed Christmas season not only for us but for everyone I’m sure. I thank God for reminding me amid all the presents and parties and busy itineraries that the reason for the season is our Savior Jesus Christ. He was born one blessed night so that we will all have the greatest gift we could ever receive not only for Christmas but for the rest of our lives. And I pray that as an undeserving recipient of that gift by the grace of God, I will also be able to share about that very special present with the others who have not known or accepted it, including my family. 🙂

The busy Christmas season is coming to an end and another year is beginning to unfold. Another opportunity to put our focus on what really matters and that is our relationship with Jesus — allowing Him to take control of our life, leaving every problem and decision to Him and seeking Him, worshipping and pleasing Him all the time. Personally, I take this new coming year as an opportunity to cultivate and deepen my relationship with God. 🙂

May we all have a blessed and wonderful 2015! 🙂

A Bloggin’ Momma

Several years back during my single days, I started a blog because it was a budding trend at that time along with Friendster (oh no, I’m giving away my age!  😀  ) and I wanted to try what the fad was all about. I found the thought of an online journal weird at first because you are short of sharing to the whole wide world the things that you would usually keep to yourself through a tangible diary. Nevertheless, I gave it a try and found myself giving away bits and pieces of me to people I may or may not know for almost 4 years.

However, I wasn’t a good blogger slash story-teller. I was not so confident with my writing skills because to be honest, up until now, I don’t consider myself a good writer. I’m a mood writer (is there such a term? Oh well, I’m coining it now. 🙂 ) who needs that particular “it” moment to be able to write sensibly which rarely comes. 😀 Also, more importantly, a huge part of me didn’t want to reveal so much about what I thought and felt at the time because of the fear of being confronted and judged by other people. You know, QLC. And so, I ended up writing twitter-like posts most of the time. Or survey posts. Or song lyrics which I used to communicate what I felt. Thus, a boring blog. So I just decided to stop blogging.

Five years later, here I am again in the blogging sphere, making an attempt to open up myself once again to people who mostly probably I barely know and barely know me. But this time it’s different. I’m an all new person now — a wife, a mom of two and a working mom at that who God taught how to become selfless and to show unconditional love through the gift of marriage and motherhood. And I’m blogging now for a purpose: to share and hopefully inspire other people with the things I’ve learned about life, my faith and walk with the Lord, marriage, motherhood, family life and everything in between.

With the little time I have in my hand being a working but hands-on mom to my kids plus wifey duties, I’ll try my best to make time for this little virtual world of mine. 🙂 Of course, my family is my priority so I may set aside blog posts or updates once in a while when my “Super Mom” duties call for it. But hopefully, I’d be able to keep up. 😉

Let’s get this blog rollin’! 🙂
